The principles that our grandfathers and fathers adhered to continue to be important to us at the present time, namely, quality, the use of natural products and affordable prices – these are the foundations of a prosperous business started back in 1895.

1895

Samara State Wine Warehouse No. 1, the future Rodnik Combine, was built in July, 1895, with the support of Count Sergei Witte.

1900

The enterprise expanded its territory by more than 1.5 thousand m2. A broad-gauge railway line was led to the plant to provide products transporting convenience. After the October Revolution, due to liqueurs and tinctures the enterprise’s assortment expanded.

1930

The enterprise was renamed the Samara Distillery, and numbered ports and white sherry appeared in its product catalog.

1941

With the beginning of the Great Patriotic War, the alcoholic beverages production decreased, and the enterprise started to produce food concentrates, tape fuses and incendiary mixture.

1960-е

The plant began to supply Russian vodka to the United States. Soon the drink’s production reached 1 million decaliters per year. The customers were 50 countries of the world, including Canada, USA, Germany, France, Spain, and Greece.

1987

The plant became one of the first enterprises that managed to resume production after the anti-alcohol campaign’s easing. The Combine bottled about 400 thousand decaliters of alcoholic beverages in 1987. Two years later, the plant returned to its previous production volumes.

1989

The production output amounted to about 4 million decalitres.

1990-е

The Combine was reorganized into Rodnik JSC.

2000

The enterprise became part of the Rosspirtprom State Unitary Enterprise.

2008

Having obtained the right to the brands of its predecessor, the revived Rodnik Combine began to produce alcoholic products. A significant modernization of the production base was carried out, and modern automated filling lines were installed, which made it possible to produce approximately 5 million decalitres of products per year.

2012

The enterprise’s staff increased by about 40% and amounted to 600 employees.

2016

The enterprise was part of Kristall-Lefortovo Group.

2021

Povolzhsky Combine Rodnik LLC is carrying out a large-scale modernization of production. The production of products of the world-famous Nemiroff brand has begun.
